Perfobore Replaces Sidetrack and Significantly Increases Oil Production From a Carbonate Reservoir in Idled Well with Fish
The well had been previously left idle after a failed workover intervention where the production interval was blocked by a dropped ESP. The cost and risk of a fishing operation for the ESP was calculated, as was a full scale drilled sidetrack to re-open the payzone.
